Massimov cited Orwell in Twitter Karim Massimov

Kazakhstan Prime-Minister Karim Massimov cited the famous English writer George Orwell in his Twitter, Tengrinews.kz reports. “Orwell: Who controls the past controls the future,” tweeted Prime-Minister. The English writer became famous thanks to his essays about life of English miners in poor regions. In particular, Orwell wrote an allegorical novel Animal Farm (1945) where he unveils meaninglessness of the revolution and a dystopian novel 1984 (1949) describing the society to replace capitalism and bourgeois democracy. Earlier Massimov cited Mahatma Gandhi in his Twitter. “Gandhi: Poverty is the worst form of violence,” Prime-Minister tweeted.
